In 2011 the Top Ryde Shopping district underwent a major makeover. First the Top Ryde Shopping Centre was rebuilt and then the luxurious 5-star Top Ryde City Living apartments were built in the airspace above.
The challenge:
- Supply of 20,000m³ of concrete
- Navigate safely through a constant stream of traffic
- Deliver to a job site on a main road with multiple intersections
Metromix and Crown International staff worked closely together throughout the scheduled pours to co-ordinate the large volumes of concrete and the traffic management involved with this project, in order for everything to run smoothly with only minor disruptions to the area.
