Each year Metromix hosts an industry Golf Day. Our customers and suppliers are invited to sponsor the day via Bronze, Silver or Gold sponsorship, and in the donation of auction prizes. In addition to this, we charge players a gold coin donation on the charity hole.
All money raised from the day is donated to Westmead Children’s Hospital in Sydney. The hospital is the preferred charity of Metromix Pty Ltd, particularly as it is close to ‘home’; near the Metromix Head Office in Parramatta. The Westmead staff are an inspiration, and many of our customers and suppliers have children themselves, so they understand the importance of donating to this organisation.
On ‘par 4’ a good cause – Metromix Charity Golf Day 2016
A warm and windy September day saw a return of the Metromix Charity Golf Day held at the prestigious Riverside Oaks Golf Resort in Cattai.
Attended by Metromix and Able Metromix employees, customers and suppliers, the Metromix Charity Golf Day is a well-recognised industry event.
The 11th hole was again set up as the Charity Hole, and along with the charity auction and additional cash donations, almost $4,000 was donated to the Westmead Children’s Hospital.
